This isn't possible at the moment - the search bar doesn't 'know' what site you're on...
I agree it would be a useful addition though - may file a bug.
(though I suppose it's easy to provide with a simple Greasemonkey hack, and I'll bet it had been done already, but...)
So Here's a complete enhancement:
I want the context menu (right click) to allow me to send the selected text not only to the currenly-selected search engine (default today)
But also to the default search engine (which I get to define) and a site-specific search using the default search engine (which is a feature that needs to be added of course)
Also, it would be nice to have the search available in the context of a textarea element (like the box I'm typing in now).
The other features of GoogleBar would also be nice to have but not a must (search keyword highlighting, etc)
