I want to have Alta Vista as my search engine available in the search engine box. I don't want A9, just the main page of Alta Vista. Why not? It's an original and we like it.
Or are you using IE7 or something else that only supports OpenSearch and looking for eg. uk.altavista.com which is currently only available as Sherlock?
(Or are you worried about the A9 icon at the start of the line that signifies it's an OpenSearch specification plugin? No need to be...)
